Financial Literacy and awareness

The Dept. Of Comm. & Mgmt Studies organised a guest lecture on " Financial Literacy and awareness ". The resource person of the day was Mr Narpat Singh, Development officer, ICICI Foundation. The lecture focused on the importance of saving and making investments. He also stressed on ' money mistakes' one makes in life, how to manage finances, how to resist temptation and of buying commodities based on urgency and importance. He also gave an insight into " Savings versus Investment"and its mantras.
